The largest gathering of Manitoba and Saskatchewan artists ever presented outside the Prairies!
Many of the country’s great singer-songwriters have called Winnipeg home at one time or another. Luke Doucet moved to Winnipeg when he was eight and by the time he could drink legally he was a seasoned touring musician appearing regularly in Winnipeg and across the country. His guitar playing has been likened to that of Mark Knopfler in his heyday by no less a fan than Nick Hornby (High Fidelity), and his rootsy, guitar driven rock songs have won him legions of fans.
He’s happy to share the stage with Greg MacPherson who still calls Winnipeg home, and writes smart, authentic songs that often pay tribute to his beloved roots. Greg’s fiercely honest voice compels you to listen carefully to what’s on his mind and with songwriting skills influenced by Leonard Cohen and Nick Cave you want to hear what he has to say.
