If Jen Lane sounds like a more mature artist than her age would suggest, you can chalk it up to her early start in music. She recorded her first album at 16, and picked up a Prairie Music Award nomination in the process. Several albums later, she’s claimed a spot among the elite of Canadian roots singer-songwriters. Her smooth vocals are accompanied by the acoustic guitar stylings of her partner John Antoniuk (aka Smokekiller).
