It’s after school and Russell’s bedroom suddenly comes alive with pirates and talking books that help him solve his schoolyard problems. Russell and his mom have moved, and he misses his old friends. He conjures up exciting encounters in outer space, and high sea adventures, highlighting the power of imagination and the value of old-fashioned fun. Russell’s choices help him grow and face his fear of rejection by his new friends in this humorous and insightful play for young people.

RUSSELL’S WORLD will also be performed in local schools from April 26 to 28.
