GRAND ANALOG is a raw collective of seasoned musicians and beat junkies who create a beautiful mess of rap’n’roll, dub and soul. Frontman Odario Williams and his brother, DJ Ofield, blame their father, a reggae DJ from the 80s, for their love of music, bass, and trouble. In concert and on recordings, they’ve fine tuned the signature Grand Analog sound – an infectious blend of hip hop, funk, rock and ska.
Danny Fernandez, aka DEF 3, is a Regina-based MC whose work has paved the way for the province’s burgeoning hip hop scene. Gaining international notoriety through his performances at SXSW and the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, he’s toured the globe,sharing the stage with artists including Nas, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Swollen Members, Shad, and Moka Only.
